Governance
Team First was founded by Tony Enos and is governed by its Board of Directors. The board oversees the organization’s charitable programs, budgets, major expenditures, fundraising practices, and assistance decisions. Application access is limited to Tony and designated reviewers who need the information to evaluate or administer a request.
The organization does not publish applicant details, athlete photographs, or family stories without separate, appropriate permission. See the Privacy Policy for additional safeguards.
Assistance accountability
- Individual and team/travel-group requests are reviewed separately.
- Decisions consider eligibility, documented need, purpose, preparation, character, commitment, and available funds.
- No applicant is promised a specific award or guaranteed approval.
- Whenever possible, approved assistance is paid to the team, league, tournament, hotel, vendor, or organization rather than as cash to a family.
- Team applications do not request player rosters or individual household financial information.
Donations and sponsorships
Online donations are processed through Zeffy and generally support Team First’s charitable assistance fund unless a donor selects an active, approved designated campaign. Team First may use unrestricted contributions where the board determines they can best advance the organization’s charitable mission.
Sponsorship arrangements that include recognition or other benefits are documented separately. The value of any benefits may affect the tax-deductible portion of a payment. Donors and sponsors should retain their receipts and consult a tax adviser.
To report an accidental or potentially unauthorized donation, contact tfbsa2025@gmail.com promptly. Refund requests are reviewed based on the circumstances and the payment provider’s rules.
